National Pancake Day 2011
Today is National Pancake Day and to celebrate IHOP is offering a complimentary "short stack" of pancakes to all comers. In return, IHOP is asking customers to make a donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a group of 170 children's hospitals across North America. Just as a reminded IHOP posted the nutritional facts of their free short stake on their website, but do you really want to know how bad these free pancakes are for you? Well we are going to tell you. According to the company's website, that free short stack of original buttermilk pancakes will set you back 490 calories, 18 g total fat, 1 g saturated fat, and a whopping 1,610 mg sodium. Still want those free pancakes? Visit Kimberley Vassal Insurance and see what we can do for you!
