Detroit first baseman arrested.

Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and two counts of resisting an officer without violence after authorities found his vehicle smoking from the engine compartment on the side of the road .  An arrest affidavit said Cabrera refused to submit to a breath test, cursed at officers and asked them, "Do you know who I am?" Cabrera also picked up a bottle of Scotch and took a swig of it right in front of the officers that were present. In addition to facing the misdemeanor charges, he was also cited for having an open container of alcohol in the car. This is not Cabrera's first time with alcohol problems.  He was arrested in 2009 after coming home drunk and having an argument with his wife.  Cabrera was second in MVP voting last season and a is a big part of the Tigers organization. Need car insurance?  Visit Kimberley Vassal Insurance Services today!
